E-Safety

Children now spend a significant amount of their time online. This can be a great way to learn new things, communicate with friends and family and even complete homework! There are however many things that we must teach children about being safe online- including making sure they have made appropriate choices about the sites and platforms they use.
Every week we send home a information poster for parents (Wake up Wednesdays) which looks at giving parents the latest information about platforms and websites. We are also in the process of creating a login for all families to the national College Online safety website which will have training webinars and plenty of additional information to help you. We will send this information out later this term so please look out for it.
Our online safety policy is available on our policies page.

Our weekly newsletters also have information about the most recent trends, issues that have arisen in school and the community and how you can help and support your child.
Additional information is also available in the 'helping at home' section on our website.
