Early Years Foundation Stage
Today the fire service came to visit. Billy told us the different ways in which the fire service can help us. We looked closely at Josh's kit that helps to keep him safe when he's working.
Billy explained that although Josh looked a bit frightening in all of his kit, it was important that the children shouldn't hide, but run to the firefighter and give him a great big hug and he or she will help get them to safety.
We then had a tour of the fire engine before using the hose to put out the 'fire' in our yard.
